At Heroic Care, we believe care is more than a service - it’s a commitment to creating lasting, positive change in the lives of individuals and the communities we serve. Our approach to social value is rooted in compassion, inclusion, and sustainability, aligning with the principles of the Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012.
Social Value, refers to the broader benefits our organisation delivers through its operations—economic, social, and environmental. It’s about going beyond contractual obligations to make a real difference. For us, this includes:
• Enhancing wellbeing: Supporting service users to live independently, confidently, healthily, happily and with dignity.
• Creating opportunities: Offering training, apprenticeships, and employment pathways for local people, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
• Building community resilience: Partnering with local groups, charities, and volunteers to strengthen support networks.
• Promoting sustainability: Reducing our carbon footprint through eco-friendly practices and procurement choices.

We embed social value into every aspect of our care delivery:
• Recruitment and workforce development: We prioritise hiring locally, offer flexible working, and invest in continuous professional development.
• Inclusive care: Our services are culturally sensitive, person-centred, and tailored to meet diverse needs.
• Community engagement: We host events, workshops, and outreach programmes to reduce isolation and foster connection.
• Environmental responsibility: From paperless systems to low-emission transport, we’re committed to greener operations.

At Heroic Care, We regularly assess our social value contributions using recognised frameworks and feedback from stakeholders. This ensures transparency and helps us evolve our practices to meet changing community needs.
By integrating social value into our core mission, Heroic Care not only meets regulatory expectations but also builds trust, strengthens our reputation, and contributes to a more equitable and sustainable future. Our current commitments to the local community:
