Cookies, analytics & your choices
This information explains essential storage, the optional map and optional website analytics used by Heroic Care. You can use our pages and forms without allowing either optional feature.
Essential features
We store your privacy choices in your browser so we can remember them. Our application and feedback forms also use Cloudflare Turnstile to help protect against spam, when you submit a form. These security checks are separate from optional visitor analytics.

We ask existing visitors again when introducing the analytics choice. An earlier permission for Google Maps is not treated as permission for analytics. We remove the old heroic-care-cookie-choice-v1 preference when you save your new choices.
Google Maps — optional
The interactive map on our contact page is provided by Google. We keep it unloaded unless you allow Google Maps. Loading it connects your browser to Google and may allow Google to use cookies or similar technologies.
If you decline, the contact address and telephone numbers remain available. You can also choose a clearly labelled link that opens Google Maps in a separate tab. Google's own settings and policies apply on that website.
Website analytics — optional
With your permission, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how our website is used and how it performs, so we can improve it. Reports include visits, page views, referring websites where available, browser and device type, country and page-loading performance. They do not provide us with visitors’ names, email addresses or telephone numbers.
Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not use cookies, local storage or visitor fingerprinting to collect these statistics. Our separate essential preference entry simply remembers whether you have allowed it. We nevertheless ask for your permission before loading the analytics script.
Analytics stays off until you select Website analytics in Manage choices and save, or choose Accept optional features. Allowing Google Maps alone does not allow analytics. Rejecting analytics does not restrict access to the website.
We do not load visitor analytics on our application or feedback form pages, even when allowed elsewhere. We do not send form answers, CVs or contact details to Web Analytics, or link analytics reports to applications or survey responses. The forms’ own processing and spam protection remain separate.
You can withdraw analytics permission using Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. If analytics has already loaded, saving that change refreshes the current page and stops further reporting. This does not remove statistics already sent. We also honour the updated choice in other open tabs on the same browser and origin.
Cloudflare’s Web Analytics FAQs currently state that reports are available for the previous six months. That describes report availability, not a guarantee that every infrastructure record is deleted after six months. The provider and international-transfer information in our privacy notice also covers analytics.
Advertising
We do not use advertising trackers or use these analytics reports for targeted advertising.
Making and changing your choice
On your first visit, choose “Accept optional features”, “Reject optional features”, or “Manage choices”. In Manage choices you can independently tick Google Maps and Website analytics, then select “Save my choices”. Both stay off until you allow them. Closing the panel without saving does not give permission or change your previous choice.
Use “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page to change your choices. If you turn maps off, we stop loading the embedded map. This cannot remove cookies already stored by Google; you can remove those in your browser settings.
If browser storage is unavailable, choices cannot reliably be remembered between page loads and you may see the prompt again. Clearing browser storage resets your preferences. Refusing optional features is remembered for the same 180-day period as accepting them.
